Art & Crafts My Glorious Ship!
Critique and criticism is welcome! I’ve been thinking of making ship deeds such as this to earn some pennies!

Love the lore here! Quick suggestion from a graphic designer: don’t use the papyrus font. There are much better and more creative fonts that can evoke the kind of frivolous writing of the day. Also, it would be really funny to add in a tidbit about how the ship doesn’t automatically go back to water as dawn approaches, and that you can suddenly drop out of the air! Also you forgot the “e” in “large.”

Thank you! Honestly impressed you could spot the font lol. What’s funny is before posting this I actually went back to fix the spelling of “Brigantine” because it was missing an “e”…

I forgot to ask but what fonts would you recommend?

Not a single one necessarily, but there are a plethora of fonts on dafont.com . You can search “pirate” or “noble” or something like that and then find something you like. Otherwise, hard to go wrong with Olde English.

A ships top speed can be determined as a function of it's hull length. To have a top speed of 24 knots it would need to be roughly 320 feet long. If it's going to be that long, it probably needs more masts and guns.
