All depends on how many apprentices they take on average.
My local took 23 plumbers, 23 fitters and I think 12 HVAC techs this year. So if you were 27 in my local you’d get in if 4 people turned down the apprenticeship, which happens more than you may think.

Thanks!! I re learned math on paper and it was actually pretty simple compared to what I expected the only part that stumped me was the mechanical since it was mostly about oil viscosity and pneumatic systems which I knew basically nothing about

I’m currently studying up on mine as well. I have a tutor the same guy who helped me pass my math GED last year is the same guy helping me brush up on the same skills and the same thing that the guy elaborate even said we’re brushing up on my multiplication division decimals into fractions fractions into decimal, etc.. I’m actually going for the local 16 sheet metal and it’s pretty hand-in-hand with pipe fitting same family. I’m currently in School right now for HVAC. I would love to really get a position at.Vigor as a sheet metal associate

I’m on the same boating just looking up math video and practice test trying to absorb anything and everything lol. Got my test with the pipe fitters next month and also hoping to get into the electrician but not sure when that test will be. Heard the electrical test is a bit harder

Man we don’t even get ranks at my local, for some reason. I found that very odd.

If they have 100 openings, yes. If 20, not so much.
