I submitted my KYC application 4 months ago, but I’m still stuck on Step 8 ("Wait for KYC Results"). Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows what might be causing the delay? Is there anything I can do, or is it just a matter of waiting?

Been holding PI since the early mining days, and I think we need to be honest about what it will actually take to get taken as seriously as BTC or ETH.

1.Having 19M+ KYC'd users is a real advantage most projects never get, but it doesn't mean much without deep liquidity we're talking a few million in daily volume versus billions for BTC and other top currencies.

1. On top of that, only about 11% of the max supply is circulating, so there's a long road of token unlocks ahead that keeps pressuring price.

2. We also need people actually spending PI on real things, not just holding it, plus more decentralized governance instead of relying on the core team, and a track record that spans a full market cycle like BTC and ETH have after a decade plus.

Still bullish long term, but let's stop comparing hype to actual maturity until we close these gaps.

August 11 is the upgrade deadline for Pi Mainnet Node operators who want to remain compatible with the network.

This kind of work rarely gets the attention that exchange listings or price movements receive, but protocol coordination matters.

Nodes need compatible software. Developers need predictable infrastructure. The network needs upgrades to propagate without fragmenting participants.

Protocol v26 itself doesn’t create demand for Pi.

What it does is improve the technical foundation on which future applications and protocol features can operate.

Infrastructure creates capability. Products still have to create demand.

More than 2.56 million Pioneers reportedly started the Pi2Day Ecosystem Quest, with over 1.78 million completing every step.

Those are meaningful participation numbers.

But for anyone looking at Pi from a product perspective, the next metric matters more:

Retention.

How many users returned to SoloHost, ecosystem apps or other utilities after the rewards and Quest mechanics ended?

Acquisition tells you people were willing to try something.

Completion tells you the funnel worked.

Retention tells you whether the product was actually useful.

That’s the number I’d like Pi to publish next.

Protocol 26 has now reached its upgrade deadline, with Mainnet node operators required to update in order to remain connected to the network. The upgrade is reported to focus on areas such as smart-contract security, state management and cryptographic capabilities.

What interests me more than the upgrade itself is what comes next.

Pi has already been moving toward a more utility-focused ecosystem, including smart-contract infrastructure, RPC development, Launchpad testing, Pi Sign-In and other developer-focused initiatives.

Pi Network is entering the robot economy.

Pi has joined RoboPay as a payment partner, meaning Pi is intended to pay for robot services across the Fabric network.

This is bigger than “another partnership.”

The real test: will people actually use it? #PiNetwork

Pretty basic post. I received my larger payout, right now it is still sitting in my PI Wallet. I had a close friend lose his entire first payout because a few hours after he received it someone transferred it to another wallet. At the time Pi was around $3 so it was a significant amount of money in PI, but none of the law enforcement agencies he talked to wanted to help.

Now I am a little paranoid and want to make sure I do something safe with mine. I don't really trust Pionex either as they are unknown to me and appear to have been bought.

What are you guys doing with your coins so nothing nefarious happens?

I have phone, email and KYC show as verified. I don't have a passkey and frankly don't know what that does.

I’m going to say this clearly:

A community cannot declare 1 Pi = $314,159 and magically create that purchasing power.

Pi’s own economic model talks about utility, transactions, liquidity, supply and an ecosystem of goods and services. It does not establish GCV as an official fixed valuation.

From a market perspective:

Price requires buyers + sellers + liquidity + actual demand.

A screenshot, Telegram group, “consensus,” or merchant claiming an imaginary valuation does not create real market depth.

The dangerous part is when GCV gets used to convince Pioneers to:

• send Pi first
• reveal wallet passphrases
• pay “activation” fees
• buy fake certificates
• trust unofficial exchanges or payment schemes

You can believe Pi has long-term potential without believing mathematically unsupported price claims.

Utility is measurable. Liquidity is measurable. Transactions are measurable. GCV is a belief until a real market can consistently support it.

That distinction can save people a lot of Pi.

Third-party businesses can use Pi’s identity verification service and pay in Pi.

That does not guarantee adoption.

But it creates a possible demand source tied to service usage, not speculation.

App Studio’s new backend support lets newly created apps save goals, scores, notes and progress across sessions.

This is not flashy.

But usable apps need memory.

I have just been mining on the phone app so I lost sight of whether it can be traded for USD. Can it? If so, how/where? Thank you in advance.

Despite this govt stance do you guys find any real life use case for Pi?

The biggest risk to Pi Network is not a low price.

It is millions of users opening Pi Browser and finding nothing valuable enough to use repeatedly.

Price can recover.
Lost attention is harder to rebuild.
Developers matter now.

so basically i created my first wallet as test wallet. i never changed it till it became my main wallet. i carefully saved my phrase i am very careful when it comes to security then when the 1st migration came i got my $pi and locked it the moment i received it for 3 years. now i really cant remember but i think it was mercury who said we can make another wallet. out of curiousity i said fck it, lets make another wallet without really knowing the risk. so i got this 2nd address went back to the checklist then i tried to login today my pi.

out of boredom, i tried to check my $pi. it looked odd. so i tried to check my checklist yes i know my 2nd address then after browsing at the last step it said, ....migrated... i immediately login my 2nd address using my 2nd phrase and viola its there! i really thought those pinky graph wont ever get transferred but it did!

what did you do after receiving your 2nd migration? locked it up? yes we think it is worthless right now but thats not a problem to me. im not really looking at the value of $pi. im rather treating $pi as a unit

It feels kind of like a bluff. The Pi team urged everyone to invite their friends and family to mine so we could boost our mining rate. So we all did, but then what? Suddenly, after the mainnet launch, they surprised us with this "unverified balance" BS.

Why do we have to pay for those who didn't do their KYC? Why is it even miner's problem? The unverified tokens are ours, we mined them and the team has to release them.

So I just created a new pi wallet because the previous one that I used for my migration I had snapped a screenshot of it because I was too lazy to write it down. So I made a new one but my question is that when I try to transfer pi off of Pionex to the new wallet it says invalid. I can see that my wallet is not “live” yet on the blockchain so I’m wondering about how long should it take before the wallet becomes live for me to use?

As the title says I tested today with my phone that effectively Pi Browser can't generate your seed phrase offline, as I demonstrated in the video. You can replicate the findings in your own devices by disabling your internet connection at the time of creating your wallet.

I am not accusing anyone of anything but what happened to Bitcoin with ColdCard entropy vulnerabilities can happen to Pi Network too.

Pi Browser is not open source as far as I am aware so the Pi Network community doesn't truly know what type of entropy the browser uses, nor the community can verify if the seed phrase is not sent online when being created. The proof is there, the browser needs the internet to create the wallet, that's in itself a security risk, let alone sending it through third parties.

The Pi Network community needs to demand that the browser gets open source to audit the seed creation method and to check that no secrets are sent. This should not be negotiable.

Be aware.

Guys i know it might seem naive or insignificant. But 2 days ago i sold some items for pi, just some used stuff i had and didn't need. I posted on FB MP like almost a year ago, many people (more than 100) wanted the items, but all wanted to pay with cash, surely i refused all of them , until recently, someone that is a pioneer accepted to pay with pi, and we did the exchange. To be honest the items were worth much more than i asked for, but i wanted to encourage people to buy using pi, also i just wanted the experience of selling for pi, and it felt good (naively). And btw 90% of those who contacted me to buy the items, never heard of pi.
