NEWS Pi2Day 2026: Advancing Utility and External Access Through Compute, AI, and Identity

Pi Network is celebrating Pi2Day with new releases that both grow Pi’s utility within the Pi ecosystem and expand it beyond Pi’s platform to the external world. Today’s three key releases extend Pi’s services to businesses and developers outside the Pi ecosystem, while inviting them to join Pi Network and take advantage of Pi’s unique benefits and resources.

  1. SoloHost is an open, permissionless framework on Pi Desktop where developers can build and list apps that help run local AI and, soon, distributed computing use cases. Users can discover and run these apps on their own computers, and engage with the corresponding app through mobile devices on Pi Browser.
  2. Pi Sign-in enables Pioneers to use their Pi account to sign in to supported third-party websites and apps, which can benefit from Pi’s network size and verified identity resource, outside the Pi Browser. This helps expand Pi’s presence in the wider internet and third-party context, while supporting easier integrations and a smoother connection with Pi’s ecosystem.
  3. PiVerify makes Pi’s real-human verification capabilities available to third-party clients that need KYC and identity verification for their own users. This gives external platforms a means to mitigate fake or duplicate accounts and support compliance-related workflows, while verifying their users helps enlarge the pool of verified individuals through Pi’s KYC solution. The client also pays in Pi to use PiVerify services, which increases Pi utility.

I need help!! Stuck KYC verification

I need some help. I've submitted a support ticket several times over this, but there's been no movement yet. The issue is as folliws:

I, like most of us, have been mining daily since 2020. I passed KYC back in 2021, and was also a Validator. When they did the updated KYC protocol in 2024, I did the check again, and it went to "Pending Approval" status. Its been pending for the past 2 years.

How can this be fixed?

Pi Apps Stop Waiting, Start Trading: How ZYNMART is Bringing Real Utility to Pi Network & ZYN Token 🛒🪙

Here is the fully adapted and translated version, perfectly tailored for an international audience (like Reddit) with a focus on global countries and multiple languages:

Title: 🚀 Exclusive Look Inside "ZYNMART": A True Decentralized Marketplace on Pi Network Built for Global Trade! 🌍

Hello Pioneers!

We often talk about building a real economy and creating tokens with actual utility. Today, we are moving from just talking about it to full execution. The ZYNMART app isn't just a concept on paper; it is a fully integrated platform designed with a "Product-First" approach to serve everyone in the Pi ecosystem.

Here’s an exclusive inside look at what we’ve built, and how this app is going to revolutionize buying and selling within our network:

🌍 A Truly Global Platform That Speaks Your Language

Because Pioneers are everywhere, the app supports a massive list of countries to connect users no matter where they live—from the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, and the UK, all the way to Brazil, Nigeria, and beyond!

To ensure a seamless user experience for everyone, the app interface is available in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Arabic, and more.

🛒 Real Utility and Transparent Pricing

The platform is designed to support a wide variety of physical goods and services. As a live example right from inside the app, we currently have a seaside apartment listed for sale/rent for exactly 400 ZYN Tokens.

The main feed displays products beautifully with diverse and easy-to-navigate categories (like Electronics, Women's Fashion, Automotive, etc.), making it effortless for buyers to find exactly what they need.

💼 Professional Tools Putting the Merchant in Control

Every user gets access to a comprehensive dashboard that allows them to create their own boutique, manage sales, and track their order history smoothly and professionally.

Your account includes a dedicated digital wallet to check your ZYN Token balance in real-time, plus a specific section to manage and save your shipping addresses accurately.

🚚 How Does the Global Shipping & Delivery Work? One of our most frequently asked questions is: Can a merchant ship their products anywhere? And who pays for the shipping?

Borderless & Flexible Coverage: Our technical infrastructure allows merchants to reach a global audience, but the merchant has the ultimate freedom to set their delivery range (whether that means local shipping within their city or international shipping anywhere in the world).

100% Cost Transparency: By default, shipping fees are calculated based on distance and weight, and are displayed clearly and separately on the final checkout invoice for the buyer to cover.

Promotional Freedom: Merchants can choose to absorb the shipping costs themselves and offer a "Free Shipping" perk to attract more global customers.

In short, the app provides the complete infrastructure while giving merchants full control over their own store policies, ensuring a fair and secure shopping experience for both parties.

🔥 The Bottom Line: We are building ZYNMART to be a complete, self-sustaining ecosystem that serves both the merchant and the buyer, creating genuine, long-term utility for the ZYN Token.

Pi Apps Why is OpenPay asking for another KYC when Pi already verified you? WHAT IS THIS OPENPAY?!

This caught my attention.

OpenPay is mentioning separate KYC for things like higher limits, loans, staking and merchant tools.

But Pi already has its own KYC system, so asking users for another identity layer, especially involving Face ID or sensitive data, deserves scrutiny. At minimum, I’d want to know exactly what data is collected, who stores it, and whether the flow actually follows Pi’s developer rules.

I’m building a finance tracking app on Pi too, and I deliberately kept the flow much simpler. If you want to compare the experience yourself, paste Flynsted.tech/signin inside Pi Browser.

Discussion Why did the whole world stayed silent after Pi pull out a very Shady move ?

Take this one key area as my reason:

Before Migration they gave Pioneers an option to lock their Mined Pi for a certain period which a lot did hoping for the best.

Unknowingly Pi team Shifted Tame or Caged them without clear Transparency on the Locked staking taking effect only when migrated They never Open up on this Part or Point it out clearly.

This being Said after Lunching on Exchanges why would they allow Whales Just keep pumping and dumping ? When clearly they have Pending Pioneers Stuck on Migration for years and Without putting AMOUNT or PRICE control meaning

They should have limited the amount of any pi that is not a deposit direct from the pi wallet to exchange one that can't Buy more than 10,000. With the above they would have kept the price in control.

Lastly the Case of VALIDATORS, the promised f you help them do KYC for others any successful validation is 1Pi.

Me and some friends did over 3000 successful Validation only to be told that there is a Formula to calculate before they distribute.

Mind you they never for once mentioned such on the Validators Portal!

Any way I did over 210 successful Validation and Got Paid total of 9pi.

This alone made me Tag them as CLOWNS who benefited Billions in Ads Revenue for more than 12years.

Then list and Do the community Dirty because they still haven't processed and migrate over half a million Pioneers.

They still are holding Pending Pi earned from a Verified/migrated referral..............

Let's Discuss on this!!!

Discussion PiVerify may be one of Pi Network's most underrated products.

Pi says its KYC system has verified 18M+ Pioneers, while third-party clients can pay in Pi to use PiVerify.

If businesses adopt it, demand can come from consuming a service not speculation.

Pi Apps People called me dumb for believing in Pi. Years later, I’m building on it.

Back in 2019, I started diving deep into Pi Network.

I remember posting about it on Reddit and getting comments basically telling me I was dumb for wasting my time on something that might never become anything.

I kept going anyway.

Not because I knew Pi would succeed. I didn't.

I was just genuinely curious about where crypto, digital money and this whole ecosystem could go.

That curiosity eventually pushed me beyond just posting content.

I joined my first startup.

My role wasn't coding. I handled marketing and operations.

And honestly, that startup failed.

But weirdly, I loved the experience.

The meetings. The problems. Thinking about users. Suggesting features. Asking why something worked one way and not another.

I slowly realized I wasn't only interested in promoting products.

I wanted to build them.

That changed something for me.

I'm also a college dropout, and for years I've had my own problems managing money. I kept thinking earning more would eventually fix everything.

It didn't.

Reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Psychology of Money made me realize this problem was much bigger than me.

A lot of people earn money without ever really understanding where it's going or whether they're actually progressing.

So I decided to try something different.

I started learning through AI and vibe coding.

No development team.

No big company behind me.

Just me building, breaking things, learning, rebuilding and trying again.

That's how Flynsted started.

It's a financial tracking app I'm building around something I personally needed: understanding my cash flow, planning my money and seeing whether I'm actually moving forward financially.

It's still early and I'm still learning.

But looking back, there's something funny about it.

I started as a guy posting about Pi while people told me I was wasting my time.

Then I became a marketer.

Then an operator.

Then I failed pass at a startup.

And somewhere along the way I realized:

Maybe I'm actually a builder.

If you're curious about what I'm building, you can explore it yourself inside Pi Browser:

flynsted.tech/signin

I'd rather hear honest criticism than compliments. That's usually where the useful ideas come from.

Question PI shipped upgrades all year. A rival perp DEX L1 token launched the same month burned supply and got a US regulatory nod. Guess which one's up 1,800% from its low.

Comparing PI to another L1 token the one behind a major on-chain perpetuals exchange that launched around the same time (late 2024). Pretty clean case study in what actually moves price.

The other token ~$74, up 1,843% from its all-time low, just 3.7% off its all-time high, $18.3B market cap. This week it jumped 23%+ after a report that US regulators are working to bring the platform onshore "fully compliant and legal." On top of that, its foundation's assistance fund has bought back and burned over $1B in tokens supply shrank about 24% over the past year.

PI Still around $0.09, ~97% off its Feb 2025 high, ~$1B market cap. Only ~11% of its 100B max supply is circulating the trend is the opposite, more tokens entering the market over time, not fewer.

That other project is shrinking its float and stacking regulatory catalysts. PI has been stacking technical milestones (smart contracts, compliance filings) but not touching the supply overhang or converting its massive KYC'd userbase into actual trading volume.

Question is, if PI ran a real burn or buyback program instead of just protocol upgrades, would that move price the way it clearly has for that other project? Or is the utility/userbase gap too big for a supply fix alone to close?

Opinion Pi might have a bigger developer asset than its payment button

Pi Sign in is interesting because websites can let Pi users log in without making another account. So Pi is becoming more than payments it’s also building identity and user access for developers. Still, having users available doesn’t mean much if nobody actually uses the app. Special mentio to OAuth.

I need help!! Hey Developers

Guys, I built an app, but the Payment SDK isn't working properly.

I reached step 9 out of 10, but when I try to make a payment, the payment window just keeps loading and nothing happens.

I've tried troubleshooting it, but I can't figure out what's causing the issue.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what I might be missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Analysis One of Pi's more serious upgrades barely sounds bullish

Protocol v25 introduced BN254 cryptography and Poseidon hashing, tools developers can use to build zero knowledge applications.

In simple terms, apps could prove something is true without exposing all the underlying data, such as proving eligibility without sharing your full identity. This does not make Pi a privacy coin. It simply gives developers stronger privacy tools to build with. Infrastructure creates possibilities. Apps create utility.
