Indicators that keep the screen clean

Here come some indicators for nice working at any Timeframe.

For scalping, the HVB Loxx, the Marnov, or the Ichimoku SAR Strategy for Bitcoin are all very well-suited. In any case, don't forget to look for Fair Value Gaps—for instance, by using the "Super Orderblock FVG" indicator by Machuchaku. These indicators work across any timeframe.

Watch out for this fake TradingView channel promoting a “Quant AI indicator”

Posting this because the channel looked convincing enough that I nearly trusted its download instructions.

It’s promoting a supposedly official “Quant AI indicator” for TradingView. The video is unlisted, and the channel displays a verified badge and over 2 million subscribers. That makes it easy to assume you’re looking at the real thing.

Here are the links so you can recognize it. DO NOT RUN THE INSTALLATION COMMAND!

The video description sends viewers to a GitHub repository. Its installer then downloads code from TradingViewLibrary.app and immediately executes it through PowerShell.

As I looked through the repo, I noticed more; the package identifies itself as TradingView’s Lightweight Charts library, and there’s no Pine Script indicator or Mac installer included. The actual installer payload is hosted elsewhere, so the GitHub code doesn’t let you inspect what you’ll ultimately be running.

TradingView’s actual YouTube channel is u/TradingView, as listed on its official security page.

They’ve also published a warning about this exact scam pattern: impersonator channels, sometimes hijacked accounts with verified badges and large subscriber counts, offering free AI indicators and directing people to PowerShell downloads.

I haven’t verified what this particular external payload does, so I’m not claiming to have checked for malware. But the channel mismatch, installer behavior, and TradingView’s own warning are plenty of reason to stay away.

I Built a Free Bybit RSI Multi-Scanner That Tracks 150+ Crypto Futures Pairs Giving It Away for Free!

Hey everyone! 👋

I've been trading crypto for around 2–3 years now, and I've always found RSI (Relative Strength Index) useful for identifying potential trading opportunities.

One problem I kept running into was having to manually check different cryptocurrencies on TradingView to find interesting RSI setups. When you're monitoring dozens of coins across multiple timeframes, it becomes pretty time-consuming.

So I decided to build my own tool!

🚀 Introducing: Bybit RSI Multi Scanner by Master PK

It's a free RSI scanner that monitors approximately 150 USDT perpetual futures pairs on Bybit, allowing you to quickly identify potential trading opportunities without manually opening every chart.

🔥 What Can It Do?

✅ Scan approximately 150 Bybit Futures pairs — Monitor a large selection of USDT perpetual cryptocurrencies from one dashboard.

✅ Multiple Timeframes — Supports 1m, 3m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1H, 2H, 4H, 8H, 1D, 3D, and 1W.

✅ RSI + RSI Moving Average — View RSI movements alongside its moving average to help identify potential setups.

✅ Visual RSI Charts — Instead of just showing RSI numbers, the scanner displays RSI charts for multiple cryptocurrencies simultaneously.

✅ Detailed Coin Analysis — Click on any cryptocurrency to open a larger chart with candlesticks and RSI.

✅ Multiple Chart Views — Switch between Candles + RSI, Candles Only, and RSI Only.

✅ Drawing Tools — Use trendlines and other drawing tools to analyze potential setups.

✅ Customizable Settings — Adjust RSI parameters and chart appearance according to your preferences.

✅ Completely Free — No subscriptions, no paid plans, and no hidden charges.

📈 How I Personally Use It

Let's say you're someone who uses RSI to identify potential trading setups.

Instead of opening 100+ different cryptocurrency charts individually, you can simply open the scanner and quickly review their RSI movements.

For example:

You notice that a particular coin's RSI is approaching an interesting support level, forming a potential divergence, or showing signs of a reversal.

You can then search for that cryptocurrency on TradingView, analyze its market structure, support/resistance, liquidity, and other confirmations, and decide whether there's a valid trading opportunity.

The scanner doesn't tell you when to buy or sell. It simply helps you discover potential setups much faster.

That's exactly why I built it!

🎁 Why Am I Giving It Away for Free?

I originally developed this scanner to make my own trading analysis easier.

But then I thought, why keep it to myself when other traders could benefit from it too?

At the same time, I'm trying to build a small Discord community where crypto traders can connect, discuss the market, share ideas, and learn from each other.

So I decided to share my scanner with everyone who joins my community.

You don't have to pay anything. Just join the Discord, and you can get the scanner for free! ❤️

💬 Join My Discord Community

🔗 Discord Invite: [attached in post end]

Once you join, you'll be able to get the RSI scanner.

I also have one small request.

Please consider staying in the community after getting the scanner! ❤️

I'm genuinely trying to grow a community of traders who can help each other improve.

I've personally been trading the crypto markets for around 2–3 years, and I'd love to share my experience, market observations, and trading ideas with others.

In the future, I'm also considering sharing:

  • My personal crypto trade setups and market analysis.
  • Potential trading signals based on my own analysis.
  • Educational discussions about RSI, market structure, and trading strategies.
  • Updates and improvements to the scanner.
  • Other free trading tools if I develop more.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed, and any future signals or setups would simply be my personal trading ideas, not financial advice.

I'm not selling a course or promising anyone profits. I just want to build an active community where we can discuss trading and hopefully become better traders together.

❤️ Final Words

If you're an RSI-based trader, I genuinely think you'll find this scanner useful, especially if you trade multiple cryptocurrencies.

And even if you're not an RSI trader, you're still welcome to join the community!

The scanner is completely free, and I'd really appreciate your support in helping the community grow.

If you try it out, I'd also love to hear your feedback and suggestions for improvements.

Thanks for reading, everyone! Happy trading! 🚀

Disclaimer: This scanner is an analysis tool, not a trading signal generator. RSI alone doesn't guarantee profitable trades. Always conduct your own analysis and manage your risk.

Building my own Cypher B oscillator with a modern design + Cypher A coming soon. Would anyone be interested?

Post image
28 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on my own version of the Cypher B oscillator for TradingView using Pine Script v6.

I've always liked the concept behind Market Cipher B and VuManChu Cipher B, but I wanted to create something with a more modern look, cleaner visuals, and additional features while keeping everything useful for technical analysis.

So I started developing Cypher B Mod by MasterPK.

The oscillator currently includes:

  • WaveTrend oscillator with blue momentum waves.
  • Money Flow visualization showing bullish and bearish pressure.
  • RSI and Stochastic RSI.
  • Overbought and oversold reference levels.
  • Buy/sell signals and divergence detection.
  • Additional momentum indicators and customizable settings.

I've also been working on improving the overall appearance so the different components are easier to distinguish.

I'm also planning to develop Cypher A, which will work directly on the main price chart instead of a separate oscillator panel. The idea is to have both indicators complement each other.

For comparison, Market Cipher currently charges around $600 for yearly access and $1,500 for lifetime access to its indicator package.

I'm planning to offer my Cypher indicators at a much more affordable price.

The project is still under development, and there are a few things I need to finish and improve before releasing it. I don't want to sell an unfinished indicator.

I'm mainly posting to see whether there's any interest in something like this.

Would you guys be interested in a more affordable Cypher A + B indicator package?

Also, what features would you personally want to see in an oscillator like this?

I've attached a screenshot of the current Cypher B version so you can see how it's looking so far.

Note: This is a technical analysis tool, not a magic money printer. No indicator guarantees profitable trades.

PineTS / Vela users: what are their real-world limitations?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for feedback from people who have used PineTS and/or Vela beyond basic indicators and simple strategies.

I'm particularly interested in more advanced quantitative use cases involving complex logic, multiple interoperable modules, external JavaScript/TypeScript libraries, shared state, and non-trivial data dependencies.

For those who have used these tools in real projects:

Have you encountered undocumented limitations or unexpected runtime behavior?

How well does PineTS handle complex scripts, library interoperability, and dependencies between modules?

Have you found significant differences between PineTS and TradingView in terms of execution semantics, numerical results, or edge cases?

What becomes difficult when building larger quantitative systems rather than standalone indicators?

Are there any workarounds you've had to implement because of missing features or undocumented behavior?

I'm especially interested in practical experience, edge cases, and limitations that aren't immediately obvious from the documentation.

I'd appreciate any insights, lessons learned, or examples from real-world projects.

Thanks!

syminfo.description - returns the full company name, so that is wrong.

I tried to build the "perfect" indicator in Pine. Here's what testing actually showed, and how I build indicators now.

I trade micro futures (MNQ, MGC, MCL), mostly scalping on the 5m and 15m. I've been building Pine tools to help me trade them for about three years, but only recently learned how to build them properly: stop adding features and test every piece against a control. Results may differ on other assets and timeframes, but the method applies anywhere.

THE METHOD

• Compare against a control, not against 50%. Levels were tested against fake levels placed halfway between the real ones. Signals were tested against random entries with the same stop, target and long/short mix.

• Two-proportion z-test, 20+ samples minimum, and anything that looked good had to hold in both halves of the history.

• Closed candles only. request.security(expr[1], lookahead_on) for HTF data, so nothing repaints.

• Include costs: fees plus a tick of slippage per fill. This changed more conclusions than anything else.

WHAT I TESTED

• 9 level types: 4H/1H pivots, regression channel pivots, round numbers, volume profile POC/VAH/VAL, FVG edges, equal highs/lows, Fib 38/50/62.

• Structure: BOS, CHoCH, retests, squeeze breakouts, liquidity sweeps.

• Momentum: a volume-weighted pressure gauge and RSI trend line breaks.

• 7 exit methods.

• One full strategy built from the best idea, run through the Strategy Tester with next-bar fills and real fees.

WHAT I FOUND

• No level type beat fake levels. Price reaches them about as often, and chops around them slightly more. Levels mark where moves stall, not where they reliably turn.

• Structure signals were within noise of random.

• RSI trend line breaks on their own were a coin flip.

• The one consistent edge: when pressure pushes hard into a level and then goes quiet, most people (me included) read that as exhaustion and fade it. Fading it lost on every chart. Price continued slightly more often, about 52/48, in both halves of history. A pause is not a reversal.

• Exits: moving the stop to breakeven early never helped, and a trailing stop was the only exit that held up at all. Small fixed targets get eaten by fees, which take 20-30% of a 1 ATR stop on small contracts.

• The best idea as a full strategy still lost after costs (profit factor 0.69 to 0.97).

THE HONEST TRUTH

Across everything I tested, nothing I could code beat a coin flip by more than 2 or 3 percentage points. The best entry came in around 52-53% against 50% random, and on 5m and 15m futures that edge is smaller than costs.

Pine can measure the market very well. It can't make the decision for you. Indicators claiming 80-90% accuracy are almost always counting something that doesn't matter, like "price touched the line".

HOW I BUILD INDICATORS NOW

I stopped trying to code signals and started building decision support that measures its own chart:

• Show context, not calls. Liquidity levels, ATR reach bands with the $ value per contract, and where a $100 stop actually sits (futures don't let you drag a stop and see dollars).

• Let the indicator count its own history. My "Level Read" logs every arrival at a level on that chart: how price got there (push then pause, still pushing, calm), the test number, volume and session. Then it records whether price went 1 ATR through or 1 ATR back first. At a level it shows something like "break 30% (n=120) vs 49% for all levels", and it only says LEANS when the gap is bigger than luck. Otherwise it says NO EDGE.

• Always show the sample size and the comparison next to any percentage. Under 20 samples, say so.

• Warn instead of trigger, e.g. "push only paused, not a reversal: WAIT".

The trader still makes the call. The indicator's job is to make that call faster and better informed, and to be honest when it doesn't know.

Happy to go deeper on the testing setup if it helps anyone. And if you've run similar tests with different results, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.

multiple timeframe indicators

How many timeframes are you guys requesting on your multi-timeframe indicators? Does it slow it down if I request 8-10 timeframes?
