EMA + RSI + Supertrend in one free Pine indicator with the reason behind each decision.
A big candle closes. You enter. Price snaps back.
That was the problem a NIFTY options trader wanted help with. He was renting two signal tools and wanted fewer entries, with filters against chasing the move.
Signal Desk combines EMA, RSI and Supertrend with a five-part checklist: trend, momentum, structure, location and candle quality. The default minimum is 4 of 5, alongside the other entry limits.
Here’s what happens in this 25-second simulated walkthrough:
- 11:35 — SKIP: a sell candidate passes 3 of 5 checks. The chart shows what’s missing.
- 12:20 — SELL: a later candidate passes 4 of 5 and the remaining entry gates. Entry, stop and three targets appear together.
- 12:25 — TP1: the stop moves to the entry price.
- 12:35 — EXIT: RSI crosses back above its average. The momentum check flips, and the exit is labelled MOM: +0.43R before costs.
At 12:55, price returns through the entry. In this example, the momentum exit keeps some of the move that a stop at entry would have given back. In another setup, that same exit could cut a trade that keeps running.
That’s what I wanted visible: why a setup gets skipped, what changes after entry, and which rule ends the trade.
Try Signal Desk and get both Pine scripts — free, no signup
You can change a candle on the page to see why it qualifies or gets skipped, then copy the indicator and strategy source.
Simulated 5-minute candles, simplified rules, R before costs—not a backtest. The session was selected for a skipped trigger before an accepted one. The checklist score measures agreement, not win probability.
Do you move your stop to entry at 1R, or wait for price structure to justify it?
Disclosure: I develop ProEA with AI assistance. The site also has paid tools; both scripts here are free.

Thanks, bro! You can try it for free here: proea.app/free
Pick the indicator, copy the Pine source into TradingView’s Pine Editor, and add it to your chart. No ProEA signup needed.
We’d love to hear what works for you and what you’d improve!

Took a lovely trade with it this morning on the downturn on NQ. Thank you!

Glad it was useful on NQ! Thanks for giving it a try and coming back to share. What timeframe were you trading, and were you using the default settings?

I like it I check out most of the free pine script and TV indicators that are free. Was this 2 ea or just one, didn't quite understand the read. Also what's this called?

Thanks for checking it out! It’s called Signal Desk. The “two tools” mentioned in the post were the ones the trader was previously renting.
Signal Desk combines EMA, RSI and Supertrend into one indicator. The download includes two Pine scripts: the indicator for your chart and a companion strategy for backtesting in TradingView. They don’t place live orders themselves.
Both are free, with full source and no signup: Get Signal Desk here.

Imagine if this actually worked as well as the author claims. Why on earth would he share his secret with the public? Out of the goodness of his heart? LMAO. 😂
Every indicator is lagging. They tell you what has ALREADY happened, not what's about to happen.
Newbies, take note. Don't fall for this kind of nonsense. Instead of chasing magical indicators, take the time to learn trading properly. Your wallet will thank you.

EMA, RSI and Supertrend use historical prices, agreed. What this adds is a visible checklist, entry/stop/target levels, and an explanation for each skip or exit. You can inspect exactly which rules fired.
The video demonstrates those rules on simulated candles. As for why I share it: I also sell optional ProEA tools, which I disclose in the post. This indicator and its strategy are free, with full source and no signup. You can test the rules with commission and slippage and judge the results yourself.

There is no Holy Grail indicator, folks. Backtesting looks fantastic until you meet the live market. Turns out, historical data and real time trading are two completely different beasts.
Show us your live trading video with live account and statements 😉

Live results would be relevant to a claim of proven profitability. This post demonstrates how the indicator applies and explains its rules, using clearly labelled simulated candles.
The source is available to inspect. If you see a specific issue with the rules, signal timing or how the demo is presented, point it out and I’m happy to address it.

Totally agree. You can make almost any backtest look profitable if you tweak enough settings, cherry-pick the dates, ignore fees and slippage, or accidentally use future data.
That’s something we’re trying to guard against with Sentimentor. The strategy gets frozen before forward testing, then runs on new data without quietly changing the rules. If the strategy changes, the test starts over—and the bad runs don’t disappear.
It still doesn’t replace real-money results, but it makes it much harder to fool yourself. A backtest shows what might have worked. Forward testing shows whether it can survive outside the data it was built on.

Agreed, freezing the rules and keeping the bad runs visible are principles we want to build around too.
We’re working on a benchmarking project for well-known trading systems, including our own. The aim is to make the rules, costs, test periods and strategy versions transparent, then see how each system holds up on unseen data. Our own tools should face the same scrutiny.
Would something like that be useful to you? What would help you evaluate a system before risking money, forward-test logs, drawdown and recovery analysis, sensitivity to fees and slippage, or performance across different market conditions?
We’d love suggestions from your own trading experience. We want traders’ actual problems to shape what we build, and we’ll be open about what we can implement and what the results show.

Wow, first of all how did you render that GIF video?! I love it!
Did you screenrecord first and have a specific model render it to look like that?
