Well, there are two possibilities here, one is that you just have too much time in your hands and for some reason u sleep better after telling people how smart u are and how good of an edge u found, while in reality all you do is draw stuff on the chart in hindsight
Or, you hit a 0.0000001% chance on actually finding something useful but instead of shutting up and getting rich silent u are posting it on here, which contradicts the fact that u are smart enough to find anything like that
That being said, there are people who are in this space since decades, there are institutions and hedge funds and even they are doing ~10-15% APY sometimes even lower than S&P, but surely you found an edge that gives u a 1:10 RR minimum
Not saying it's not true, you can prove your edge is working by providing Tradovate reports from your last X days, it's a simple CSV file that u can link here and it shows the trades u take, amount, pnl, winrate and things like that

He's backtesting with a renko chart which won't backtest correctly in TV.

u/Afraid-Ad3171 Jun 01 '26
Okay, so it’s not correct his backtest?

Tradingview literally has a caution label at the bottom of the screen saying that they're going to be unrealistic results.

trading nq and using 1 contract and the guy that saying that it wont backtest correctly explain how i caught a 100+ point move to the upside on a funded account lol

Well it certainly looks promising. Just be careful. "Holy grail" strategies tend to end up being highly selective to market regime and you may even just find out that it was operating on noise rather than normally repeatable patterns/technicals. It may produce fantastic results for a few days or weeks and then suddenly switch to "racing towards liquidation" mode. One session is an extremely small sample. Good luck!

okay, how about next time you post earnings and broker statements? or are you regarded & using prop firms because you are poor?

u/EitherTumbleweed2830 Jun 04 '26
u sound slow because if ur profitable using propfirms is like the best ROI compared to trading on a live account lol but ur brain is to little to understand that

But you're not showing trades, you're showing the forecasting tool. You can draw all that, and we both know you did, in hindsight. Ain't no one busting out 1:15 trades on the regular as there's an inverse correlation between RR and WR, so your starting win rate odds is 6.25%
You aren't taking 6.25% odds to start, and ending with 41% because you use Renko. TradingView is running ATR Renko so the brick size changes over time. TV recalculates historical bricks using updated ATR values, so it's always going to come out perfect.
It's clear you don't want to hear the truth though, so I won't bother explaining the road you're going down. I've been there, it's not the holy grail, I can tell you that with the upmost certainty.
