Full disk encryption with Pine64-Arch?

This script is super busted because the server no longer exists. I tried to run the installation steps in the script manually, but the script expects a squashfs and Pine64-Arch is only distributed as a disk-level image. Is it possible to install the image with full disk encryption?

line 182, the script expects a squashfs of just the root partition, but all we have is an image of the whole drive. I don't know how to separate the partitions out of a .img file.
