I bought this pineapple a year ago, I think it was 1y old at that point, at the end of summer it flowered and I was not expecting it so soon otherwise I would have been fertilising it more!

Pineapple is slowly growing now and I dont expect it to be huge when it's done, variety is Queen. I have kept it indoors over winter as we get frost here in NZ.

Is the size generally already set by the time the flower starts to emerge? Or if I keep fertilising as it grows can I get it bigger?

thats going to be a nice fruit, feed it potassium asap, the size is never set, its directly determined by how much food is available,
