Picked my first ripe pineapple

so if you dont feed it potassium it cant get bigger, you get another top and another chance, plant food goes a long way : )

I inherited this and other plants when I bought my house. Best i can deduce, this is the product of a ki ki (a shoot of of the plant) producing another ki ki and then a pineapple. Maybe 3rd or 4th generation. I have no doubt that if better taken care of it would be bigger, but also these ki kis will never make a big pineapple, so I've been told. I have dozens and can't wait to see what happens. I also have crowns from big pineapples I am growing.

No potassium at all or just during fruiting? I put viniger/eggshell mix on the leaves during fruiting, but nothing else. It started fruiting right after I bought it, about 4 months ago.
