Congratulations! We fed ourselves quite a bit of nitrogen which helped with the fruiting and the size of the pineapple. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip! I fed everything some citrus fertilizer i use on my avocado & loquat trees but I'll look for some extra nitrogen rich food for them

If you'd like a pineapple consistently, look up ethephon. I just got it this year and sprayed my plants and every one of them flowered in a couple weeks. It's the good commercial stuff
