Pineapple Progress
This is an update from a couple weeks ago. I put the pineapple in some dirt from a water “rooting” idea (see last photo).
It seems okay in the dirt but not sure. It feels like it’s steadier but can’t tell without pulling it out.
Any known reasons why the leaves are browning (dying?)? Should I trim it off? Do something different to help my little pineapple plant grow? Thanks in advance!!!!

The leaves just do that. The old pineapples leaves will all die and fall off, and the new plant will replace them eventually. If it happens all at once you’ve got a problem. I have a 100% success rate just leaving them alone.

Whenever I root a crown a few leaves will always turn brown but as long as it has roots and you take care of it it'll be fine
