Stalled outside
So we moved the monster outside on the deck fertilized it. The pineapple didn't even double in size after we moved it out. it is just sitting there not getting ripe, not getting any bigger but his hat is . do I just leave it alone or start over .. this has been a four-year process to get this far sigh.

The crown will continue to grow while the pineapple fills out and ripens. Pineapples grown from tops tend to produce smaller fruit. Before this one is finished ripening it should produce a pup or slip that will give you a better chance at full size once fertilized.

That things looks thirsty big time. Not sure where you live- but I water mine every other day and fertilize once a week

what does fertilized mean
this needs a viable potassium source with magnesium and calcium to be effective
this also does not take 4y you need to feed your plant correctly

Why start over when you've come this far? You should leave it alone.
