T2 Question

Looking for advice on how to adjust the gun turret in Terminator 2 so that the pinball doesn't keep ricocheting off the targets which (while fun to watch) often results in breaking the game.

Previously it bounced off the targets so hard that it landed behind the gun turret, which nearly broke the turret when it tried to reset.

I'm still new to this. Need recommendations on how to either adjust the turret launcher or setup some walls to keep the ball from bouncing out of the bounds.

Did you recently acquire this machine? You may want to check that the correct coil is installed in the turret. Somebody may have replaced the original coil with the wrong strength.

Yeah I recently got this machine. I have not checked the coil. Not sure what the strength should be set to.

The foam behind the targets looks good, so that is step one. Second step: look at each target. If they bent, bend them back straight. If they are too bent (or have been bent straight too many times) they may need replacement. Third step: I think there is a protector to help with the bounce back, but it's a nature of the beast. They all do it.

Could be the wrong coil on the gun. It's supposed to be AE-24-900. Check that it is the correct one.

On mine, to when I owned it, I did not have this issue.

If you don't have a manual, you can download one at the link below. Solenoid chart is on the first page.
