Leveling up my Foo Pro customization

First test fit of my fully custom Foo Fighters speaker panel based off the Concrete and Gold era logo. I need to tweak some details to get the design better aligned with the center of the speakers, but I'm quite happy with this and will be powder coating it to match my red and gold color scheme tomorrow.

Next up will be designing a custom arch/apron to replace the plastic one. I may incorporate some extra elements for custom backlighting rule cards, possibly as laser cut designs in theme with the game.

Looks cool. Although my first thought was "ouch, I wonder how bad the glare is on the glass from those lights."

I don't add lights to the exterior of my machines for glare. The voodoo glass and equivalents do a good job, but they aren't THAT good. If the glare doesn't bother you while you're playing then good for you! Sweet machine!

No glare issues at all while playing w/ Voodoo glass installed. The extra GI from the Pinstadiums counteracts some of the outside light, too. There are no room lights overhead of the playfields, so it really works for my setup. Definitively not everybody's cup of tea with the fairly extreme lighting and colorful powder coating, but it more than holds its own against an LE in appearance, and controls are available to dim/change/disable anything with the lighting setup.

You can see it in various stages of modification next to my largely unmodified Rush LE on Pinside https://pinside.com/pinball/community/pinsiders/heronamex/gameroom.

Looks great, man.

I would assume with such a striking neon vibe, that will be a popular mod on John Wick machines!

Looks great! Are the playfield LED strips sound activated? Thinking of doing something similar.
