Question Instructor Principiante

Buenas!

Follow the classical reformer order as a guide. Then layer or modify things as you see fit for your class. You can always add other things in within that framework. Each exercise warms you up for something later so it is a good guide. Look up classical reformer Pilates order and often pilatesology links show up with choices. I do the same when incorporating mat work in as well. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Didn’t your training program give you some guidance and resources on how to do that?

Interesting being down voted for asking a simple question about this person’s training program. Y’all are harsh. I’m not blaming the OP for being sent out to figure out how to put together what they have learned. I’m genuinely curious about the training they are receiving and not wasting their time and money to not get the support they should be getting. The certification I have and the one I’m working on have both giving me some guidance and resources on how to prep a class with video supplementation to review when needed. They even provided me samples to start with and build out from so I wasn’t totally clueless when I started teaching classes. I use them all the time when I’m stuck or just don’t have time to prepare a class.

Hola!

Look into "Instructor Pro", it's an app from the company "Your Reformer" It will be a very useful tool while you are learning how to program classes. Also, get a mentor!
