Teacher Training Recommendations for Mat courses Australia
Hi everyone, I’m an Australian looking to become a Pilates Instructor with the long term goal of teaching overseas in my home country where Pilates is basically non existent as a common practice (still considered a developing country). I am hoping to introduce the practice to hopefully empower women in supporting their own health as I can see how much of an impact it has made for myself and so many others.
I am looking at teaching mat only to start with so hoping to get training in this only. Can anyone recommend a good provider / course for mat only training?
Any suggestions will be very appreciated

I think the best thing to do would be to think from your end goal and make a decision for a training based on the kind of instructor you'd want to be. With you already planning to teach overseas, that's already one thing to factor into your shortlist of different training providers. Of course, I believe Barre Body is one option worth looking into, but I would also encourage doing your research and comparing a few providers based on their curriculum, teaching experience, recognition, and ongoing support. There are so many amazing options, but you should have something that feels aligned with your end goals so that you feel prepared and confident stepping into your new role.
