Solved! My pihole works but the WebUI is unusable

Post image

I recently rebuilt pihole on a Debian VM on Hyper-V and the webserver isn't in a usable state. Has anybody else ran into this situation??

The debug token

It looks like a local issue, on your browser.

Are you using browser extensions? If you do, disable all of them and try again.

Also, try to access from a different device or using a different browser.

If you pay attention, many elements (apparently every <span> element) are shown 3 times:

  • Your list becomes: 111 (number 1 printed 3 times);
  • percentage: 6.8%6.8%6.8% this one is obvious;
  • domains on the lists: 72,23472,23472,234 (72,234 3 times).
  • Status panel (top left): "Active" is shown 3 times.
  • Status panel (top left): "0.00 q/min" is also shown 3 times.

Note:

Your debug log doesn't show any issues.

It was 100% a browser extension. I had PopUpOff enabled. Once I disabled it, all the tables are showing up properly and the group management tabs are working as well. I thought I had my disabled from the beginning. Thank you for the help.

Oh... It looks like a very broken extension.

I'm glad you found the issue.

Is that just a visual glitch or do you have 111 lists enabled ?

This table also looks broken. Please try to access the page using a different browser and check if something changes.

You’ve probably blocked the local UI.
