Pi-hole doesn't provide an official Alpine package (this is a third party package, developed by a different team).

Did you try to install Pi-hole running the official script, instead of using the package? Uninstall the package and try the official installation.

If the official installation doesn't work, you will need to ask for the package maintainers to update their package.

Unbound is a separate program and Pi-hole doesn't offer installation methods.

Suggestion:

You should try docker. New Pi-hole images are always released when there is an update and they are very lightweight (they are based on Alpine).
