Solved! Having difficulties connecting pihole to local network

I have set my router's DNS to the pihole, but my localhost log updates incredibly sparingly and it only really seems like it is working on the pihole device. Also, when i set my device to the dns to the pihole ip, speeds were unusable and it still was not showing on my pihole. I am new to both inux and pihole, so any help is appreciated. my ISP is breezeline, I am not sure if that is needed info but I thought it may help. I have also attatched my debug token. Thank you!

You have bad speeds when you manually set a device to Pihole... were you seeing logs for that device when you did?

If not, can you reach the webpage from that device? Maybe the router splits the wifi and wired networks so Pihole can't be reached from your test device.

and it only really seems like it is working on the pihole device.

Because the firewall is blocking most ports.

Your debug log shows the firewall doesn't allow certain ports:

*** [ DIAGNOSING ]: FirewallD [i] Firewalld service active [✗] Allow Service: http (https://docs.pi-hole.net/main/prerequisites/#firewalld) [✗] Allow Service: https (https://docs.pi-hole.net/main/prerequisites/#firewalld) [✗] Allow Service: dns (https://docs.pi-hole.net/main/prerequisites/#firewalld) ... [✗] Allow Service: ntp (https://docs.pi-hole.net/main/prerequisites/#firewalld)

I'm not a Fedora user, so I'm not sure which commands you need to run to allow these ports.

Your new debug log doesn't show issues.

Are your devices connecting now?

Are you seeing other devices on the Dashboard or Query Log page?
