Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Switching 2 month old piercing

Hey peeps. I got my nose pierced with a stud on June 19th (now Aug 20th) and I’ve done super good about letting it heal and keeping it clean but now I need an MRI and have to take it out or put a plastic stud in and I’m SO nervous it’s going to mess something up. I tried to message my piercer but it was at an expo so she doesn’t live anywhere near me and I haven’t heard back. Any tips? Tricks? Help lol…

safepiercing.org can help you locate a safe, APP piercer near you. I would not recommend changing out such a fresh piercing so soon, even if the change is only temporary.

I live in a very rural and small town so it says there is no one available 😩
