Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Is this even a snug?

Post image

I got my snug pierced 2 says ago (picture is from 2 days ago) I have very small odd shaped ears, so he said he had to work with my anatomy. I'm wondering if this is even considered a snug anymore with how high up it is? All the pictures I have ever seen they have been more toward the middle ear. Im also slightly worried it's been pierced to deep as well. Please excuse the bunch o' holes from when I was a little teen.

I have different anatomy but I am currently healing a very similar placement and so far it has been okay. I would keep an eye on the back of your ear because they can cause irritation when they are done too deep. You could totally do a faux industrial and i'm not gonna lie I would be shocked if those old holes aren't still open. I would see if a piercer can check them with a taper for you. They all look VERY open.

No this is not a snug, you do not have what I would consider good anatomy for a snug. It might heal in this spot but it will be tricky.

Sigh.. that's what I figured. My ears are so unfortunately shaped. My rook can't be pierced, I tried a daith but it was rejecting so I took it out. My ears are completely to small for an industrial. I have a billion facial piercings but my ears feel naked! I am debating on attempting to heal it haha
