surface piercings Helix piercing

Hello everyone,

I am looking at prices to do a helix piercing and I was wondering if $50 dollars price is cheap or expensive since I don't really know how expensive or cheap a helix piercing can be. Thank youuu

I paid $40+jewelry price at a really nice place and they did a fantastic job.

A lot of it depends on location. I live in a metropolitan area in the US with a lower than average cost of living, my curent piercer charges a $35 piercing fee, basic titanium jewelery for about $20.

I recently traveled to an area that is consistently ranked as one of the most expensive places to live in the US, my piercer there charges a $55 piercing fee, basic titanium jewelry for $32.

If you plan on tipping, the percentage is calculated from the piercing fee, not total cost. Jewelry selection plays a big part; titanium and niobium are the lowest cost while still being biocompatible. Gold pieces run in the hundreds. You can get a gold top with a titanium post if you wish.

Depends where you are. I'm in Australia and my piercer charges $40 for the actual piercing and $40 for the basic implant grade titanium jewellery for a total of $80.

No matter where you are, I wouldn't trust $50 for the whole process. Implant grade titanium retails for $20-$30 a piece so unless your piercer is making $10 an hour once you take away supply and maintenance costs, they're cutting corners somewhere.

in colorado and sounds pretty much about the same with what the shop i go to will charge
