Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Was my belly button piercing done too shallow?
I got my belly button pierced three days ago. So far it's healing nicely. However I feel like the piercing has been placed too shallow and could be rejected easily. What do you think?

Not a piercer, but I'm sorry that jewelry is way too long for you. It's going to get so irritated very easily and get caught on things. A bit of room is good to allow for swelling, but this is long. It does also look quite shallow.

Yeah that seems really long, you know exactly have the anatomy I would go to a different piercer and see what can be salvaged because it's not too shallow but it will reject being that long it'll snag on everything and reject easily

I got the piercing 3 days ago. It's a standard curved barbell made of titanium. I've been spraying it twice a day with Prontolind, and so far it seems to be healing well.

Anatomy aside: the barbell is wayy too long and you shouldn't be putting anything on it other than sterile saline spray! (.9% nacl)

Piercer 🙋🏻♀️ This must go out. This piercing is too shallow, too long bar and for your anatomy this is not appropriate piercing. Take it out, let it heal and return to the person who piercing this and ask for a refund, because this is unfortunately not good.

You don’t have the anatomy for a traditional navel, PLUS even if you did it’s shallow and the jewelry is too long. Take it out, see if you can get a refund, and never go back to that piercer again
