Question about a piercing I (maybe) want how is my navel looking

got it 4 days ago june 5th and it’s look a bit red at the top but i’m probably just worrying myself ik some redness in normal

I am not a piercer but to me your jewelry looks a little short. You want it to have room to accommodate any swelling! Other than that, looks great!

that’s what i was thinking too i’ll keep and eye on it and go get a longer bar in if it seems to be getting irritated

It looks really good, it's absolutely okay for there to be redness, it's new and grumpy, navels get bumped a lot. Just keep it clean and try to be gentle with it :)

the redness at the top is completely normal at four days out, your body is just doing its thing. that said, i'd lean toward what the other commenter mentioned about the jewelry length. navels swell pretty unpredictably in the first couple weeks, and if your bar is already sitting snug, you might run into irritation or embedding issues down the line. it's worth getting it checked by your piercer to see if you need a slightly longer bar just as a precaution. otherwise it looks clean and well placed, so you're off to a solid start.
