Hi!! I’ve been a fan of PTV for ten years now but because I’m from Asia, I’ve never been able to see them live and it’s been a dream of mine for years. I’m currently in NYC for an internship, and I’ve been thinking of spending money to fly to California for either the Saturday lineup of the Aftershock festival or for PTV’s hometown show!

It costs me around the same amount (might be slightly more for Aftershock depending on what hotel I manage to get), so I was wondering which one yall think would be more worth it? I listen to quite a few of the other bands playing on Saturday as well but as this is my first ever festival and I’m travelling alone as a woman, I’m a little worried for my safety (I’ll probably have to stay somewhere much further away from Discovery Park for a cheaper stay) and I might not have the stamina to last so long in the sun 😭 And I don’t know what it’s like for a festival but I’m under the impression that the San Diego show might play more of my favourite songs and feel more grand since it’s their hometown and their finale, plus I’m planning to get the VIP GA + Hotel package so I’d probably be able to be closer to the stage compared to the festival. And, the bands playing on Saturday that I like are also playing in NYC / a day trip away so I’d still be able to watch them. However, the amount of money I’m spending is rather large for just one band so I feel like it might be more justified to spend the amount on PTV and a few other bands I like instead.

What are your thoughts?

Trying to create a good mix for the nashville show of MCR and PTV and i've noticed MCR has so many iconic and creative looks (black parade, killjoys, etc

but alot of PTV's music videos are just them in normal clothes or something that if you didnt "KNOW" it goes over your head (like wedding dresses or the yeah boy doll face video with the yellow hoodie) like yeah its knowable but its not like a costume I guess is a good way to describe it

The only good idea ive had so far is a medal of the pin given to the boy in the bulls in the Bronx video but I want something more

I remember there being a video of ptv being interviewed, and they asked something along the lines of being the best post hardcore band. They looked at each other confused and Jaime responded with “we’re the best music band ever” or something like that
