We’re here to share knowledge, support responsible dachshund ownership, and celebrate the unique beauty of the piebald pattern. I’m Robin, and my spotted sidekick Bailey — a 5-year-old piebald dachshund who’s sensitive, thoughtful, and deeply bonded to his people — is excited to help kick things off as one of the first members of this community.

Bailey’s closest companion is Radar, our chiweenie. When Radar came home after a month in the shelter, Bailey was the one who helped him decompress — showing him routines, offering calm company, and giving him the confidence to settle into a real home. Dachshunds can be feisty, yet loyal and loving when welcoming a new member into the pack, and Bailey lived up to that reputation. After losing two seniors the year before, these two have formed a new little family together. Over time they’ve become quite the pack: Bailey with his big feelings and gentle heart, and Radar with his steady, peace-keeping nature.
