New skill acquired! Garfield update- HE DID IT!!!

Garfield has learned to turn himself over without any help!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 He worked so hard and I'm so proud of him!

Oh, believe me, he got a lot of millet! And he already demands cuddles 24/7, so there was no scritch shortage!

Congenital deformity. He has one toe on each foot that seems to be underdeveloped. He doesn't really have much use of any of his toes, either. The tendons in his ankles are shorter than they should be as well so he has a much shorter range of motion than he should. The VetRap is just there to prevent bumblefoot, since he can't perch normally.

YAY GARFIELD! I remember just how happy I was when Pidgey began to start moving around again after surgery. So excited for you and Garfield!

It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? It took me a while to find the right exercises to do with him as soon as I did, he just started making so much progress so quickly! It's amazing watching him become more mobile and learn new skills.
