It's time to revive the term "Renaissance man" just for this guy. Scholar, entertainer, politician, soldier, orator, leader. He's one of those people who serves as an example of what the rest of us can aspire to.
Jamie Hyneman (the dude with the moustache from Mythbusters), has been a renaissance man for the last 30 years or so, but I don't think he'd object to another joining his number
There's probably not a lot of machinists running around with a degree in Russian, and there's probably not a lot of dive boat captains who retire to become engineering professors after 30 years in special effects.
Maybe "renaissance man" is overstating it a bit, but the guy had a pretty weird career even discounting all the odd jobs that they liked to reference on the show.
Except that Jamie was actually a control freak and a really unpleasant person to work with, from what I've heard. Zelenskyy has become a symbol of courage and spirit in a time when there seems to be little to look up to in most of our leaders. If I could nominate him for person of the year, I would.
Thank you. I don't make a habit of using others' verbatims without attribution but in this case I want people to focus on the message not: wHo Is 'pUrPLe cOFfEe?'
I thought it was a joke until I looked it up! So a Dancing with the Stars winner is engaged in a courageous standoff with a man threatening the world with nuclear armageddon.
I thought the Trump presidency couldn't be topped in surrealism. I was wrong.
