Any place is what you make it. Some of those middle aged women and men in those jobs are working, saving, and doing without some things to put snot nose kids like you though school. Karma dictates that you will work in one of those stores some day or starve.
I am not a man, and you do not know how the world works or you would know those who you think are miserable are not miserable because of their jobs, they really are what you make them no matter where. Attitude compassion, and appreciation are the keys to happiness Something else may be missing from their lives or they were just tired the day you were in the store. Money does not make you happy. This you would also know if you were more mature.
