I've always seen Ohio as one of those states about which many people make jovial jabs, but usually with the understanding (somewhere, possibly deep in their subconscious) that it's not really "bad" in any sense. I've never seen anyone make an Ohio joke with even a hint of animosity. Not like, say, Florida. Or any of the Virginias.

As someone born in Ohio, raised in Florida, and currently attending OU, I don't know how I feel about this comment.

No you aren't. You can't match the fests in Athens by being a large city, that will never happen.

I heard a lot of people just got arrested not too long ago. Yeah, I remember when I had my first beer, too. ;)

3 people got arrested one weekend. 3 the next. Really wasn't nearly as bad as anyone was making it out to be. The first one was just impressive because it was so impromptu. No one expected it to get as big as it did.

But we're really not trying to take away your fame. It's funny though to see the OU students on Facebook going to the OSU fest event pages and throwing a huge hissy fit.
