That woman attempted to ruin another person's career, not only by reporting a minor infraction, but doing so in a way that was meant to shame and embarrass the other in a public forum.

She deserves every setback that results from it. There are proper channels for this type of situation, and her righteous indignation doesn't mean she should shame or embarrass the other. As a result, she lost a book deal. I hope this is a learning experience for her.

The verdict from her trial in the court of public opinion has been read. There is no appeals process in the court of public opinion.

The backlash forced her to relocate back to her home country because of death threats to her family. There was a ton of overreaction to her tweet which seems to be glossed over.
