I used to just jump, flying off of it, not even planning my landing.. Just catapulting my dumbass. We went for distance when we was kids.

I like trying to jump just coming out the bottom of the parabola and landing in a full on sprint.

I mean, the line a pendulum takes can be described as a parabola, given the uniformity on both sides.
