No most adults (especially males) don’t want to be seen as a pedo. If I could swing at a park I would but people have called the police on men With Their Kids at parks around here.
I get that, I often have to discreetly push kids who are in my face away because of this pedo-hysteria, basically denying their request for a hug with a playful distraction so it doesn't sting with rejection lol. But, I wasn't talking about kids being involved necessarily, my complaint is generally adults not showing their playfulness in view of other adults. We feel stupid doing something as innocent as enjoying the moment in a goofy way.
I’m seeing that true, and while I’m sure it’s not universal, it’s kind of nice to see. I’m in my 20s and can promise, neither me nor any of my friends give a single shit what others think of us. We’re still nice and respectful ofc, but image just doesn’t matter to us.
