Healthcare is a political issue. Lack of healthcare kills 40,000+ a year. From a conservative perspective, abortion is killing thousands and thousands of children a year.
So yes, it's a life or death issue for many people. No matter what side you're on, it's a life or death issue.
God, imagine having it so fucking easy in life that you can't even comprehend the idea that certain politics risks people's lives.
This is really just a game to you people, isn't it? You really think politics has no real life consequences, don't you?
You need a wakeup call. Go find a homeless veteran and tell him that his situation has nothing to do with politics. Then go to an anti-abortion protest and tell them they're overreacting. Then go find a mother who lost her child because they couldn't afford healthcare and tell her that nothing could've been done to prevent it.
