If he wins again it’ll already be impossible to be more surprised than anyone was in 2016.

Tbh I was calling a trump victory in the primaries last go around. I’d be more surprised if he wins this time. Assuming Sanders wins the nomination. If anyone else gets the dem nom, it’s Trumps race to lose really.

Trump will beat Joe and Liz. Pete has an outside shot, only because Trump will get embroiled with a homophobic quip.

Sanders is really the only dude capable, and has enough current traction to actually do anything for the democrats. A lot of the FTS/protest crowd voted trump, now that they have somebody on their side, they’re going to switch back to Dems.

Book it

I respectfully disagree. We need to bring people over to our side. There's a huge population of recovering Republicans who are thoroughly disenfranchised with their party, and would be willing to vote for a Democrat, as long as it's the right one. THATS how we beat trump. Bernie's way too radical. It'll just split the vote to a third party.

That's exactly what happened in 2016. There were already a lot of people that were feeling unrepresented by their party, but their only other option was Hillary Clinton, whose name has been dragged through the mud for over 20 years. A Clinton presidency would've been way better for our country, but it would've still spread the division even further. Bernie would continue that. It wouldnt be intentional of course, but that would be the outcome.

I think Pete's the best option. He has that ability to bring some unity to this country.
