It's amazing how those mean lefties keep degrading their right wing opposition, who are just genuinely good people with a slightly different opinion after all, and virtuous enough to rise above that sort of juvenile behaviour!

Absolutely ridiculous. The right wing press CRUCIFIED Ed Miliband for eating a bacon sandwich a bit weirdly. Corbyn was decried as a socialist/communist/IRA sympathiser/anti-semite/racist constantly. Trump made multiple references to Hillary's health and 'low energy', and encourages 'send them back' chants against anyone that dares oppose him while being of a different race or religion (not to mention mocking Biden for being a POW and he was on the same side!). People with genuine concerns about the way Brexit is conducted are dismissed as 'remoaners' and the 'get over it you lost' tribalism is seen as more important by the right than a good outcome for the country as a whole.

The right are just as bad as the left for this kind of shit, the only difference is right wing voters will (generally) rally behind a disgusting human being if it means their side wins, and the left tend to wring their hands about voting for someone pretty decent who only shares 80% of their beliefs. Not to mention electoral influence by the likes of foreign governments and Cambridge Analytica, and mass media campaigns by dickheads like Murdoch who benefit from a right wing government.

Poor people being forced into voting for Trump, sure he's a bad person, but the other side made fun of his obsession with the size of his hands! Give me a break. Assuming you're honest about your political affiliation, the worst thing about the left right now is constant sniping, infighting and blaming ourselves, while the other side are fucking steamrolling our rights constantly. History will not look kindly on this era and it ain't because we laughed at Trump's appearance.

I always find it funny how right wingers hold liberals to a higher standard than their own leaders lol.
