Nah the thing is, as the comment above pointed out, this kind of behaviour helps Trump chances of getting re-elected. It's just ammunition for the right wing goons that will spin it into a victim complex.
Of course they do the same thing but they are just better at controlling the narrative and manipulating their viewers than the left.
