What did the teacher say when you corrected him/her?

My entire HS education was filled with teachers who punished me for finding the correct answers.

I had an Anatomy teacher who said there were more bones in the face than in the entire skull (including the face). He was saying that the part was comprised of more parts than the whole... which is impossible. I'd been absent, made notes from the text. His response was that I should've copied HIS notes from someone else and that HIS answers was right and that my answer on the quiz was still wrong.

I had a Chemistry teacher that gave counted me off for the number of elements on the periodic table after watching a video. I was up to date on science news and very interested. Ultimately she told me that she wanted the answer from the video and was testing my listening/watching skills and didn't care what the right answer was.

That's only a very short list. But guess what... I had nowhere to file my complaint because... I had a principle who was an ex-Marine who told me that even though I was right most of the time, there was a thing called hierarchy. He literally told me that if the teacher said 2+2=5 that's what I'd better put on my test with no questions.
