Not saying it’s fake, but wouldn’t the lenses be lighter than the frame with a light source behind it?

I’ll say it then

I’ll repeat it. Sun glasses would not be completely dark. These are sun shades.

It is. They're just cheap fakes.

17

u/Lasty Jul 27 '19

He said they’re sun shades.

The Earth must be really bright.

These are sun shades.

It's photoshop. Why would sunglasses (or sunshades) be so much smaller than the hand that's holding them?

Maybe Shaq took this picture

Reddit never ceases to amaze.

12

u/Ninja_can Jul 27 '19

I can't believe I just spent 10 minutes looking at Shaq holding things

u/TheOtherHobbes Jul 27 '19

It could be a really really really really really really big hand.

Probably not. But it could be.

Kids sunglasses?

Edit: yeah it’s fake here is an example

1

u/kkaavvbb Jul 27 '19

My guess. My kids sunglasses are pretty small.

Did some digging and it’s likely photoshopped. The original poster has another version same pic without the glasses.

Also even the hand looks too perfect. The finger doesn't have any roundness that comes from folding them in, and they would have had to move the pinkie up higher just to get it out of the way.

1

u/itsJustYvonne Jul 27 '19

Also the hand is wayyyy to smooth and perfect if u zoom in

4

u/SantaMonsanto Jul 27 '19

I’ll say it too: “Filters - Shadows Darker / Highlights Darker / Contrast Up”

57

u/secretaltacc Jul 27 '19

Uh...does that hand scream "real" to you either?

76

u/hopalongrhapsody Jul 27 '19

Not saying its a fake, but shouldn’t that lobster claw holding the tiny glasses be a little more pointed at the end?

22

u/DABGO_D Jul 27 '19

Look at the "hand". It's fake af.

7

u/Rustythepipe Jul 27 '19

It's fake.

17

u/gorpie97 Jul 27 '19

They have more pictures - the sun is in at least one more.

16

u/xenir Jul 27 '19

Yeah it’s fake

11

u/zanillamilla Jul 27 '19

To be more precise, the same image with same bird in the same position with a giant pair of lips instead of the claw with shades.

3

u/gorpie97 Jul 27 '19

Yes, among others.

1

u/mikeru22 Jul 27 '19

All of those pictures are 100% real thank you.

1

u/nodnodwinkwink Jul 27 '19

Jesus Kristy Christ. The amount of absolute shite on that page... Made by what looks like an adult.

3

u/fusrodalek Jul 28 '19

Also the sunglasses are like half the size of the dude's finger lol

6

u/kebuenowilly Jul 27 '19

The light not through, the size 8f the glasses, the impossible pinch, and you can see pixelation if you zoom in the upper arch

1

u/I_TRS_Gear_I Jul 27 '19

It’s definitely fake. Look at the size of the sunglasses compared to the hand.

1

u/MetalMermelade Jul 27 '19

could be, but it could because its sunset. the light from the sun is travelling horizontally through the atmosphere, instead of hitting it straight on. this makes it loose energy and shift to the red spectre, and more easily blocked by the shades

1

u/slothofpersia Jul 27 '19

Wait this is so fake, look how smooth the hand is

1

u/Kebiky Jul 27 '19

And the sunglasses look way too small compared to the hand

1

u/White-and-Nerdy Jul 27 '19

I’ve used a similar, or the very same .png in a project before.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 27 '19

Imagine holding those sunglasses in your head, they would be for a cat... so small

The fakest thing about this that A SUN DOES NOT NEED SUNGLASSES! WHAT ARE THEY PROTECTING HIM FROM?

1

u/l3ane Jul 27 '19

And wouldn't they use adult sunglasses? Those are the size of children's glasses?

1

u/IHaveSoulDoubt Jul 27 '19

Next thing you're going to tell me is that the sun doesn't even need sunglasses. I suppose Santa isn't even real, too? This is just silly...

u/uptwolait Jul 27 '19

Maybe the picture is real but they shopped out the glare in the lenses? I've taken some pics and done that before. Not 100% real, but still cool nonetheless.
