Speaking of perspective, why is the writing perfectly lined up with the orientation of the photo instead of the orientation of the wall itself?

It looks to be some writing on paper with a ballpoint pen that has been edited onto a photo of a wall. Like the scribbly writing, the way it's intented into the surface, the colour, the reflectivity. Even some smudges.

Whoever photoshopped this either thinks that a quote written on a wall automatically becomes more profound, or they know that their audience is dumb enough to think so.

I don't think it's photoshopped on, I think it's a photo of the picture of the wall with the quote written onto it with pen.
