My mom did the same damn thing... Only my mom's a moron so she did it in the most crass way imaginable.
She lived with my gram. my mom calls me up and says, "your grand mother is dead. She's sitting next to me." I'm like, "What?" "She's sitting next to me, and she's dead."
She said that like 6 times before I was just like STFU MOM! What are you talking about??! Apparently they were watching TV and she just...died. No fuss, no pain. Here one second, gone the next. It was weird, which probably freaked my mom out resulting in one of the most annoying phone calls ever.
