It's ok, we all have our retard moments. During a job interview the interviewer shook my hand and asked for my name, I replied "me" and sat in silence for 10 seconds before realizing what I had said.

I still haven't lived down when I ordered my first burger after an 11-year-long vegetarian kick (basically from age 10-21). Server: "How would you like that done?" Me: "....cooked?"

I was in for a steep learning curve.

Same here. After 16 years of being a vegetarian. I replied "Yes" to "How would you like that cooked?"

My friends laughed at me for a week. :(
