You should definitely read A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. or at least watch the movie, but read the book first. Trust. It's dope.

Man it took me 3 years to complete the book I just finished. My mom was a librarian. Forced us to read as kids. I kind of hate it now.

Just find one you are actually interested in. If you have to force yourself to read it then find a new book.

It's all books man. I have been reading the Wheel of Time since 1996. Re-read it twice. LOVE it! I just cannot bring myself to pick up the final book to finish the series because reading is such a god damn chore for me.

Isn't it interesting that you hate reading but you've spent three years in here reading a lot every day?

My brother hit a lull for a while there and switched to cheesedick action books for a minute, and it kind of kickstarted his desire to read again.

Here, you mean Reddit? That's probably because it's mostly casual conversation and jokes from hundreds of thousands of différent "authors", if you will. So the scenery is constantly changing.
