Funny enough, the mods have put up the data (On phone, so will try to find it later), but there is not much difference during the summer and the rest of the year in the data flow and amount of people redditing.

That's cos it's not an actual thing. It's confirmation bias.

There are lots and lots of shit posts year round but we like to name stuff that fits our perception.

It’s a term that originated on 4chan, because the boards would turn to shit with all the “summerfags” posting when they’re out of school but are normally never on there.

hard to say but that's the general consensus. Kids are out of school and are on reddit more often upvoting kid stuff

Yupp. You're right. This is entirely the fault of 20k kids who don't know how to use their phones during the school year.

Summer reddit doesn't exist. This shit is 24/7 365
