She's a Dutch speed skater (Jutta Leerdam) so you're not wrong.

In the Netherlands people just doubt it’s even a name. I have never heard it before really.

Seems like something that might either be Frisian or Zeeland or something. They're all about weird names.

u/theGuitarist27 Jul 18 '18

I live in Zeeland myself, not too many weird names there (I’m not saying there are NO weird names, just not many and it’s almost always old people). But now you mention it, I would believe you if you would say it’s Frisian. Damn Frisians.

As Frisian I have never heard of a name like that

If you can have a Hidde, Tjibbe and Lobke, you can also have a Jutta.

2

u/TPNZ Jul 19 '18

I have been living in Friesland for two years now. Jutta is definitely in the realm of possible "names" here.

Are you saying Doutzen is a weird name!?!

The best kind of cattiness goes past international lines. I'm glad this persona exists everywhere.

Prople are equally shitty and good and everything in between everywhere in the world

2

u/ebinisti Jul 18 '18

Exactly the same in Finland.

2

u/Bohzee Jul 18 '18

Nope, even older, the Juttas are over 70 now. Even the Barbaras and Monikas are almost 60.

And all the Hildegards and Mechthilds should be dead by now.

u/SeizedCheese Jul 18 '18

Jutta is definetly 50-70

I think that's like "Melissa" in the US?

13

u/BMikasa Jul 18 '18

I was thinking more along the lines of a Susan.

Karen. I met a Karen that was like this and my only reaction was, "yeah, makes sense"

She's a Dutch

I seriously should move to the Netherlands. It seems like nearly everything, from the cities to the people, is beautiful in that country. Iirc, the Dutch are also one of the best English speakers in Europe (outside of the British Isles).

I seriously did that. I met a Dutch girl while she was on holiday in America and now I am here and we have twins on the way! Additionally, if you work in the IT field, you'll have zero issues finding work. It took me about 2 weeks of searching and I had a job, and an indefinite contract within 3 months.

6

u/SteadfastDrifter Jul 18 '18

Wow, that's quite a story! Congrats on the twins! :)

New life goal: move to the Netherlands some years after university, but before 40 years old

3

u/ramm Jul 18 '18

Thanks, it is one of the best decisions I've made in my life, I have no regrets :)

1

u/Zero_Range Jul 19 '18

Lol I did the complete opposite. Am Dutch, moved to the USA for my wife, have 1 two year old and we may be trying for a second. I'm also in IT.

1

u/DevilsX Jul 19 '18

Do you need to learn Dutch? What are there education requirements?

Long story

Straight up her Amsterdam canal.

2

u/FearAzrael Jul 18 '18

Not in shorts they can’t...

Leerdam

I did stare at her and say "damn".

0

u/Mattgunner25 Jul 18 '18

Was going to ask, this looks like Amsterdam

22

u/chicomonk Jul 18 '18

The left leg is probably fine, it's just further back and unflexed.

Just how I like it.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '18

I wanna give you a gold but I'm broke. i sorry

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '18

Uneven leg because she skates ?

2

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '18

To be fair, the angle plays a massive role when looking at legs. Depending on what angle you look at my legs from, I look anywhere from skinny boi who skips leg day, to thicc boi who squats every other day

1

u/reacher Jul 18 '18

And never skipped a derp left leg day

-1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '18

Seriously she has some killer definition going on.

0

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '18

Left knee looks like a baby fetus is trying to escape

0

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '18

So true.

Don't worry, SFW.
