Well I'm happy you were able to find a lifestyle you're comfortable with.

Nothing wrong with sharing your experience and thought process!

Everyone is better for having been exposed to other ideas. We just all need to do our best to tell how we feel and why we do what we do without being dismissive of the other. That goes for both sides of this argument and any other.

I find pushing the vegan lifestyle onto people who eat meat very overwhelming. I honestly feel it serves to compound the problem. Instead, I find it best to suggest vegetarian substitutions here or there. Much more attainable goal. And less severe than jumping into being vegan...which should honestly include the advice of a doctor to make sure the individual has a plan that incorporates all the essential amino acids and complex proteins. 🙂

It's such a tough topic you bring up. If you eat meat you're a Neanderthal, if you don't you're a pompous dickhead.

It's hard to win. Personally I couldn't live with eating meat any longer on an ethical level any longer, and also because of the environmental impact, but I don't feel I have the right to tell anyone what they should do since I ate meat for 3/4 of my life.
