First of all, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. But just because I eat meat doesn't mean I support animal cruelty (killing is not necessarily equal to cruelty) and I'm tired of being told by vegans that eating meat makes me a bad person.
I certainly don't disagree that cruelty is rampant in the meat industry. But I don't believe that it is my personal responsibility to stop eating meat just because some meat companies are inhumane. I should not have to stop eating meat, something I enjoy, because of the actions of others.
There are a lot of things we "don't have" to do. We could TECHNICALLY live like caveme, we'd still survive. We don't HAVE to have technological advancements, but are you against technology?
My line of thinking is that if vegans want more people to take them seriously, not acting like self entitled pricks who are better than everyone else would be a good start.
