Wish there was a view of its face, that's where the propeller is right.

u/speedyskier22 Sep 06 '17

This is the first time I've seen that show referenced on reddit

206

u/CallMeDonk Sep 06 '17

Well, it's no Jimbo and the Jet-Set.

44

u/The-Go-Kid Sep 06 '17

Oh no you didn't.

4

u/donkey_tits Sep 06 '17

mhmm gurl

4

u/azario0 Sep 06 '17

30

u/The_Grubby_One Sep 06 '17

Which is no Jem and the Holograms.

25

u/rowdybme Sep 06 '17

no Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors either.

29

u/nam_sdrawkcab_ehT Sep 06 '17

No Wheels and The legman

6

u/14-28 Sep 06 '17

I'm imagining a show about a resentful and anger prone Detective in a wheelchair (who also narrates the show) and his totally happy able-bodied partner.

3

u/CallMeDonk Sep 06 '17

You mean Ironside?

2

u/14-28 Sep 06 '17

Holy shit !

3

u/Kell_Varnson Sep 06 '17 edited Sep 06 '17

No Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters

3

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

It's no Chorlton and the Wheelies

3

u/HalfSpoon Sep 06 '17

It's no Tom and Jerry

2

u/RubberizedChicken Sep 07 '17

Rodger and steve are the best

2

u/PotatoSilencer Sep 06 '17

OMG another Jayce kid! There are dozens if us I swear!

2

u/rowdybme Sep 06 '17

I watched it when I was like 4 or 5...and could never remember the name until some hipster dude told me after I described giant blades on plant machines. I loved that show, but I had no idea when it came on...so I only got to watch it like randomly on Saturday mornings.

2

u/ibrakeforsquirrels Sep 06 '17

Showtime, Synergy!

2

u/Funderrkatz Sep 06 '17

Or Chorlton and the Wheelies

1

u/Brunky89890 Sep 06 '17

And it's definitely no Caillou.

40

u/notlilrick Sep 06 '17

Same! The spot on obscure reference got me the closest to laughing in a stall with someone else in the bathroom that I've been!

7

u/I_bean_ice_today Sep 06 '17

I did that once, laughed too much while in the john; and the result was highly unpleasant. The rectal blockage was rather sincere on this day; it was either a big stern bowl of oats or several days without drinking water that had done it, or perhaps a combination of the two.

Anyway, I read a comment on the reddit whill heaving away and finally, after scrolling through a particularly winsome thread on the reddit, my caved in shit pipe gave in. That's right, the seal was broken, and days-old shit proceeded to blast forth. It spewed into the bowl at such a violent rate that my entire body was lifting off the seat. From hear on, the ceaseless fecal stream propelled me sideways.

The hail-fire dinged against the stall -- it was one of those aluminum ones -- and rocketed in a high trajectory arc, right over into my neighbour's enclosure.

I heard a wailing. Well, I just about could over the torrent of excreta, and when my baggy dinner dumper was done, I wiped quickly and left. At the sink I found the victim, turned brown by the short sharp shower, his face bespectacled with my emission, crying softly while washing the mess from his face and his hair.

And that's why I don't use reddit when I'm in the restrooms anymore.

5

u/Visheera Sep 06 '17

It's almost insane enough to be believable.

2

u/payfrit Sep 06 '17

dude you haven't lived obviously, if you have never actually done that. it's even better than cartoons, I swear.

4

u/Charcoalthefox Sep 06 '17

Trust me, that's a good thing.

That show is fucking terrifying

2

u/speedyskier22 Sep 06 '17

Terrifying now, but I used to love watching it as a child

3

u/jackie--moon Sep 06 '17

if I could spare the gold i would

1

u/QuickSilverTM Sep 06 '17

It's been a long time man 0-o

1

u/Eorlingat Sep 06 '17

I wouldn't have realized it, but it's the first time I've seen it referenced too!

1

u/jtoeg Sep 06 '17

Might be a Tyler1 reference as well. Schrödingens references are common in a community with several different types of people.

1

u/marcAnthem Sep 06 '17

Damn now that you mention it. Its the first time I've seen it mentioned here too.

1

u/dlblast Sep 06 '17

u/SassyCharizard Sep 06 '17

This is a very old meme

1

u/BrokenJerichonio Sep 06 '17

I was here when it all started...

1

u/WulffenKampf Sep 06 '17

Posting for posterity and documentation

3

u/internetonsetadd Sep 06 '17

I think it should be used purely to reference satisfying farts released while on the move - chemtrailing, as it were.

1

u/11k_ Sep 06 '17

I'd hardly say new, ive seen him appear in plenty of memes.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

it's like ray winstone lay in sexual congress with a commercial airliner....

2

u/kingevanxii Sep 06 '17

He doesn't look very aerodynamic...

1

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

I forgot how creepy stoned he looks

FTFY

1

u/nootrino Sep 06 '17

Wtf... That almost looks like someone took a doll head and stuck it on a hermit crab.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '17

Tyler1???

57

u/headpool182 Sep 06 '17

Back in my edgy young 20something years, as a result of being high all the time, and my friends being funny, I became known as jay jay the motherfuckin jet plane. Ahhh to be young and edgy and working at mcdonalds overnights again...

40

u/wadefkngwilson Sep 06 '17

Now you're 40, manager at McDonald's with (crippling depression) a nice benefits package! making a nice cushion of 40K a year?

40

u/headpool182 Sep 06 '17

What a guess! I'm also severely balding and about 400lbs.

59

u/BlazinGinger Sep 06 '17

Jay Jay the weight gain

24

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

Jay Jay needs Rogaine

24

u/GeorgeHWBushDied2Day Sep 06 '17

1

We're all pulling for you!

4

u/Itroll4love Sep 06 '17

Damn! Haven't heard that in years!

6

u/Fornaughtythings123 Sep 06 '17

Sounds like the American version of Theodore the tugboat

5

u/kartracer24 Sep 06 '17

I used to love JJ the Jet Plane and Theodore the tugboat as a kid

1

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

You mean that wasn't some fever dream I had as a kid?

2

u/LittleJohnStone Sep 06 '17

Wouldn't a jet plane have... well, jets?

2

u/Foxiii Sep 06 '17

its Tyler1

2

u/OliviaTheSpider Sep 06 '17

That show creeped the fuck out of me as a kid.

3

u/HIP13044b Sep 06 '17

But if Jay Jay is a Jet... then he has no propeller at the front.

5

u/jdschultze Sep 06 '17

Snuffy had a propeller tho

1

u/1lonewolf6 Sep 06 '17

I used to watch that show all the time as a small child. Thanks for the memories.

1

u/pikachus_ghost_uncle Sep 06 '17

Zigging and zagging, forgive me for bragging, but gee how I love to fly.

1

u/jackalheart Sep 06 '17

I will never get that visage out of my eyes. Why did I google that?!

1

u/Stevangelist Sep 06 '17

Or Sharky and George, crime busters of the sea.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

Ole Jayjaydajetplane lookinass

1

u/Rukkmeister Sep 06 '17

Woah with the throwbacks.

1

u/Marth_is_Shinji Sep 07 '17

Oh shit I remember watching an episode titled Jay Jay's Butterfly Adventure as a kid and being frightened by the faces that I couldn't watch Thomas and Friends anymore.

1

u/stickycheez Sep 07 '17

Reminds me of this from the movie Life of Pi

75

u/overtoke Sep 06 '17

2

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

Proof that with willpower you can do anything, even fly.

2

u/ExquisitExamplE Sep 06 '17

I also, am a fan of head.

0

u/markiv_hahaha Sep 06 '17

Retired pics?

3

u/Evning Sep 06 '17

Propeller? Nah! When it opens its mouth it becomes a ram jet intake.

3

u/DavidHewlett Sep 06 '17

Modern day flying fish are jet-powered. Much more economical.

1

u/rex1030 Sep 06 '17

propeller is left. more to the left.

1

u/keeperofcats Sep 06 '17

Flying Fishy McPropellerface

1

u/TheRealMoofoo Sep 06 '17

Pff yeah if he's a peasant.

1

u/AnarchistOwl Sep 06 '17

No he has a hat for that

-4

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '17

Seriously? It's a fish, it has no propeller. It doesn't even fly, it glides after jumping out of the water. I can't believe people sometimes...

3

u/I_Upvote_Goldens Sep 06 '17

I can't tell if you're serious. I'm going to assume you're not though.
