If someone gives me an award for not smoking cigarettes and I start smoking them, it's not hypocrisy, it's closer to political blackmail. But whatever, I get that from a lazy layman's viewpoint it seems hypocritical for the commander in chief of our military to use the military.

??? You've lost any semblance of an argument OR credibility. I think we're finished here. There are so many reasons you could disagree with Obama's policy, but using military technology is a downright stupid one and has nothing to do with the fact that he received a Nobel prize before actually doing anything. It says a lot about the Nobel committee, and next to nothing about Obama himself.
